I have been writing for the Hendricks County Flyer since Dec. 2006, starting as a freelance sports writer while still pursuing a journalism degree at IUPUI. After graduation, I landed a full-time news gig with the Flyer in May 2008, when I acquainted myself with town council meetings, 4-H animal shows, fundraiser car washes, and pig-related controversies through the news beat. Now back in sports, I’m looking forward to covering the Colts, Pacers, and all the county high schools.
